jack made a video about midnight's easiest and hardest healers I'm gonna jump around
as I just want to with the hardest one in the easiest one is
let's see this one's easy
I want to know hard who's hard
who's the hardest healer to play
are hard as tealer on the list form of the glosses, preservation of Ocar. Just like we've
had in previous lists, the pruning that they received going into midnight has taken away
an ability called Spiribloom, which was helping with a lot of their direct healing output
and helping them kind of like quickly burst up healing onto their allies if they were
fully empowering it, but they've had that ability rolled into their new apex talent. And so
they're basically able to have many spirit blooms that are healing their allies if they're casting
it off of a reversion, which they're healing over time.
So preservation features a lot of different modifiers that you can build up your healing.
You have talents like Grace period, which if they have their healing over time effect,
reversion on their allies, then they're automatically taking additional healing.
You can also use the ECHO ability, which replicates your healing spells, put another
reversion onto your allies that receive even more healing as well.
This echo ability is so powerful and so impactful for the entire spec that you're deciding
whether you want to echo more direct healing effects, more healing over time effects,
depending on the damage it's going out, that also is encouraging you to have a really
strong understanding of what kind of damage it's coming because you have a few simple
abilities.
I think it's a more skillful healing too, especially healer for sure, to be really fantastic.
I've been healed by so many of those.
That's the process for some say that too.
The spec never really seems to run at a healing.
If you're using the wealth of resources you have properly,
but it also does require a lot of upfront knowledge
for what is coming around the corner.
And I think it's a spec that's also most vulnerable
if you're unprepared or if unexpected damage happens,
which if anybody is pugging you guys know how that works.
Some of the weaknesses it feels like
are some of the priority target healing
or the triage healing, being able to
On the fly do a lot of single target healing seems very challenging compared to some
other peers.
They do have verdant embrace, which is a more powerful, prior heal than it has been
in the past.
You also have a new talent called Wings of Liberty, where you can have two charges.
But verdant embrace also has some skill cap to it too, since you're flying to allies to
be able to hit them and then heal them.
So understanding that positioning for your allies and where everybody's standing, making
you're not cutting through a beam that might be criss-crossed around the room and getting
yourself killed in the process, all adds up to it challenge. Now thankfully they've added
some talents like dreams to be a lacrum where a copy of your character kind of flies to the target
and then produce your own circulation. But then that also means you have to give up a second
charge of burden and brace in the process to get that. And so preservation has a really fantastic
way of producing lots of different output, depending on the burst damage or the single target damage
that might get thrown some of these way, but they're weaker when it comes to the priority target healing.
This fight? Yeah, this I mean it might have just nerfed this fight, but yeah, this fight is pretty rough.
A lot of stomping. A lot of the other positions, both are things like burden and brace.
They change it to the making of harder. But even though it has a 40 yard range,
if people are kind of spread out and a very wide arc around you, even with a 40 yard range,
you can't quite get everybody in together. And this makes it a very challenging
healer to operate at a really high level. And it's the big reason that we have
preservation listed as the hardest healer to play. Like I said, at a solid level
when it comes to a mythic plus.
Well, this is mythic plus which healers are easiest or hardest to play. Now, which ones are
like the meta. It's very possible. Precivoker is the meta because you have
meta players knowing what they're doing. I think this is more like the average person,
like, I mean, he just explained, right? You have to worry about like
90 different things when playing a president, okay?
Whereas I guess for easiest was, let's see,
what's the easy one?
I'm assuming it's Restejo Shaman and Holy.
Yeah, he rated it as easy, pretty simple, medium,
and then hard.
Yeah, I must've seen BC anniversary.
Yeah, and like a week and a half.

And let's dive into our easiest.
What am I buying?
Resto Shaman.
Now this should of course come as no surprise.
Given that Shaman has been one of the easiest
healers for quite a while, especially when you're
playing Totemic.
But in midnight, about the Hero talent and far-seer
and Totemic have gotten just even easier if it was possible.
Ha ha ha ha.
Shaman's apex talent, their new addition going into midnight
is Stormstream Totem.
And it's an empowered healing streamed totem.
There's no longer cloud burst.
There's a lot less extra modifier to be thinking about
for the juggling between when you are playing as shaman.
And there is a lot of passive output healing.
That is healing coming from sources that you are usually just
using on cooldown.
You can think about, you summoning your ancestors, for example,
coming from unleash life when you play farceor allows you
to just have a lot of extra follow-up output
tied to those hero talents.
Lively totems with a tootemic hero talent.
Means, whenever you are casting your healing stream totem,
you're also casting a full value chain heal.
resulting in not only a lot of output from the healing stream totem as well, but a
additional cleave healing along the way, making this the easiest healer to operate in the night.
They have that, it's an interesting gameplay. Mechanics, things like ascendants, I think, are really
fun, where whenever you cast a rip-side, you're healing wave or chain heal, even though chain
heals pretty bad at the time of this video. You're able to instantly cast those abilities after
casting a rip-tide and they also play a rip-tide through their target, which can work with
the deeply rooted elements to proc bore ascendance.
And so ascendance gameplay feels really, really fun, but it's sort of like you're getting
on to a really cool roller coaster every time you press ascendance and then when you're
outside of it, then you're kind of on the kitty rides after that.
Crab control is also another big factor for Shaman, but they used to have a ton of different
tools.
Like a lot of classes, they've gotten a number of abilities pruned, so you have your
stunt totem and you've got a 30 second kick and that's about it. Yes, cool ways. You
still have like poison cleansing totem. You have some good utility that you can be bringing
to the team. But I find that the gameplay is not super challenging or really super interactive.
You're not really having to think too hard about what buttons you're going to be pressing next.
Which might be right for you. And if you're interested in starting healing,
travel is a great pick for those reasons. Holy priest has historically one of the easier
dealers and what I like about the pruning they've done going into midnight is
they've gotten rid of a number of abilities which didn't add much depth and
there were kind of extra global you had a cast you know when they made him power
renew you had to be casting that every you know 12 15 seconds and it just was
applying a hot mouth about it so easiest rest of Sean and Holyley's a lot more
straight forward there's a lot less extra set up mythic plus probably vengeance
We've got rid of a lot of those tools, and they've also given you some interesting build variety as well.
Holy really focuses on your holy words, Serenity for single target, sanctify for AOE.
But now in midnight, you can get rid of Holy word sanctify if you choose with the ultimate Serenity town,
which takes away your sanctify, but it makes your Serenity heal for more, and it also cleaves for nearby allies.
It can do a great tool for a mythic plus.
Furthermore, it also means that you're prayer healing,
which they actually did make a legit button now.
Instead of reducing the cooldown of sanctify.
It's actually a legit button now.
It's a strategy.
Meaning you can weave between single target healing
and AOE healing very effectively
and have not a lot of buttons to really think about,
but a lot of like tight concentration there.
I think it's more focused on what you're getting
when it comes to cool down reduction
from casting synergistic spells.
So, with an ultimate serenity talent,
your flash shield and your fairer feeling
are both reducing the cooldown of your serenity,
allowing you to put out really strong single target healing,
and very, very good.
It was 1.9-8.

Not being very mobile, being very slow,
happens weak defenses, but when it comes to jumping
between Arcon, which focuses on empowering your halo,
and allowing you to have really strong direct healing,
oracle, which focuses more on your passive healing output
and wants to make sure your prayer of endings
are very, very strong with a new talent
in unfolding vision, which causes your prayer of endings
to no longer expire, they just drop a couple stacks
and find a new target.
That is an insane turn to the close environments.
And it really adds a lot of passive strength
to the Oracle kit as a whole.
And so both talents kind of have an interesting identity
to the play, and they also are just straightforward,
I think they kind of just a present book or hard.
Shaman, all he pre-seasy, I was assuming,
where did he put pallet in?
He put the people pallet in pretty simple, and then drew it,
and Ms. We were our medium.
Kind of depends on the healer too,

We're also introducing a weekly reset for the diminishing returns on repeatable
