We're just here vibing. Splash the image vibing UK vibing. This is weird. I've never done an
IRL stream. Hannah said I'm live. Is it am I actually live on Twitch? Hello. This is weird.
Let me see it. Oh, wait, this background looks sick.
Yeah, the background is really good.
Wait.
I want this in my room.
Let some people join first.
It's in my title, but you're right.
Twitch Shatters can't read titles.
So for any of the early birds that have arrived here,
it might be a little noisy.
But we got an IRL backpack.
We're doing a little IRL thing for fun,
where it's flash damage.
In the UK, currently in their gaming center,
I guess is what it would be called.
I really want this set up in my room or house or something,
a LAN party.
But yeah, we're just going to let some people join.
We're just going to vibe out.
We're going to chat.
We're going to walk around the UK a little bit.
Maybe go into London today.
Potentially.
We'll see.
No promises on that one.
I don't know.
Maybe.
Maybe.
But for now, it's just me, Chris is here.
We have some people from Splash that we might bring up.
Just kind of talk to them if they're up to it.
And yeah, pray we don't leak anything.
pretty much
no leakage let me let me take a peek at
take a peek at chat really quick
i wonder how how this microphone does with like that audio because there's
right now people
they're gaming smash bros right now
yeah you
yeah you can look from i mean yeah you can look close to but yeah people are
gaming smash right now
you can see smash yeah
yeah there's a
some devs just gaming some smash bros right now is what's happening
um...
This is weird being live.
IRL is weird.
But yeah, we're only live for two minutes right now,
so I'm just gonna kinda let it simmer a little bit.
Let it simmer.
Look at this.
Look at this shuffleboard.
We got a little shuffleboard set up.
I'm so bad at this, but yeah.
I don't actually know how you play shuffleboard,
if I'm being honest.
You're in spots, you're in spots.
Okay, so are you gonna be black or red?
I'll be black.
OK.
Oh, it's like curling.
Yeah, but smaller.
Oh, wait, but we all play from the same side.
No.
Yeah, no.
I'm pretty sure you play from the same side, right?
Chris, like, yeah, you start on the same side
and you push.
No, no, no.
No, I'm pretty sure you start on the side and then one.
He doesn't have a mic, but I could mic.
You want a mic?
Does somebody want a mic?
Does somebody want to be mic'd up with me?
We do our friends.
We do our friends.
Here. So now this mic should be live. You can grab it. You can talk to it. Or you could do what I did.
We could do a little test run, make sure chat can actually hear it. Let's take a peek.
Oh, chat knows how to play shovel board?
Okay, my...
It's like curling.
Hello, hello, hello.
Sorry
I'll go first. Yeah, I'll be
Maybe you actually give me to snap it
Can you hear me now chat hello now my Anna said it's working
That was not even straight wait it's turning it's turning it's turning
That's a curve right there
That is a curve
never misses a shot I was way too hard it's gone too much gone too strong so
I think you got a team here good night for rotating oh yeah team okay oh is it
yeah we'll do teams I like that that's smart get everyone engaged don't please
Don't hit mine though. Please don't. Too hard. Wait?
Alright, Avery.
Such. Avery.
Avery's like, I do this shit every day.
Too hard.
Alright, that was me?
How would you assess your performance at Avery?
Disappointing as always.
A little safe fell.
A little safe fell.
Whoa!
Call that a blocking stone.
That blocks and protects your front stone.
Yeah, that's strategy right there.
I don't want to hit mine.
You could hit mine.
Yeah, Andy, you could hit mine.
Maybe not that one, but...
That's setting me up nicely, maybe?
That's fine.
Is it Chris?
Oh yeah, it would be Chris, right?
Now, how do you, does that mean we have two points?
Yes, two points.
So I have two points, okay.
This is our warm up for the stream
while people are joining, and then we can.
Oh God.
Easy.
No, I'll clear in the blocker.
Clear in the blocker.
All right, Avery.
There's only one option here.
He's a perfect weight.
I'm likely.
You were built for this?
Or, I am into the other one.
Yeah, we built this one.
Classic triple takeout.
Wait, that's pretty good.
Oh.
And that's it.
That's it.
You got two points, and then you switch sides.
Oh, and then swap sides.
You can do drinking, probably.
So you come over here.
Ah, OK.
I see, I see.
You know the rules.
How do you like being a cameraman?
I love it, dude.
That's great.
Yoni, the cameraman.
Hello, everybody.
You might know me from other streams.
You have to get closer.
You have to get closer to the microphone?
What's surprising is both me and Chris
have these microphones, and they're not echoing.
I don't think which is interesting. Yeah, maybe you should you should bring us down and you'd be like Tony star
Yeah, right. Let's go another round. You start this time
Annie with the starter
No, it's good. That's good. That's good. That's good. That's a good throw. That's really good
That's really good. Gears of war guns. That's so cool
I'm going to try to knock hers off, maybe. I don't know, I'm nervous. No. Oh, oh, it's
good weight, but...
All right, we're making it come back.
Oh, are these the rounds?
This is the one.
I think that's score.
Oh, score.
Okay.
I don't know.
Who knows? Do we just play for fun?
Uh-oh.
Oh, oh, oh.
one for one you just took her block out you're like no it's my boy which color
we oh we're black I want you to bless it with an English phrase uh cheers boah
what day is it it's a Tuesday Tuesday it's a Tuesday in it Tuesday's in it
go on bro oh hey that's pretty good oh oh oh oh I think one is all of this
right from the half any year shot you're up I believe forgive me that's
What's your what's your best English English accent?
Going in I'm going in I'm going in I'm going in I'm going the pacing to try out special
Yeah, you turn to one or two two that's good
I don't know if that's great I love how they could see everyone playing Smash at the back
or have they just gave it back there.
Avery going in.
Wait, you guys for sure won this round.
Oh my lord, okay, okay.
All right Chris.
Sure enough.
This is our last shot.
I just aim for this.
You can try to aim for theirs but you might hit only, it's hard.
It's hard to aim.
I think I still hit that maybe it was wipe everything out. Okay. Okay. God bless the queen
Oh
That's you that's UK strength
Sorry queen
Yeah, I mean, I kind of want to show this area a little bit more and I kind of want to give Avery a mic and just like
Introduce every
Steal a microphone. We all know Chris, but we don't all know Avery
Oh, yeah, that's cool. I love unlimited power
Thanks, Chris. But yeah, there's nothing really formal here. It's pretty casual
So thank you, I guess, to you guys letting me do a little IRL session here.
But yeah, a little introduction, tell us about yourself.
Yeah, of course.
So I'm Avery, executive producer on Project Astrid, which means I'm lucky enough to work
with these two gentlemen.
And I've been at Splash only about a year now, but long enough to figure out where
most of the things are.
So obviously you've found the all-important shuffleboard table.
We've got the front desk lab over here.
Right.
You do a lot of playtests in here.
We could kind of walk over it.
Do you want to have a look?
Yeah, have a look.
for anyone that might have joined a little late.
And then this space is mainly used for play tests.
Yeah, almost exclusively for play tests.
So we'll do internal play tests here mostly,
but sometimes we have like focus groups
or we'll have visiting executives,
people from other studios will come and play test here.
We also, this is where we do a lot of our playing
for fun, right?
So like we have a fighting game club
that will have tournaments here.
I made it into the C tier.
I'm very proud to say it.
You guys also have like a racing?
So this is kind of crazy.
Yeah, yeah.
So these racing rigs are relatively new.
I think we had one for a while.
And I think the second one is new, but I might be mistaken.
But yeah, pretty serious in racing,
which I think puts us in good shape.
We've also recently done some charity go-kart races
with other game developers for local gaming charity.
So I think this gives us a little bit of a competitive edge.
But yeah, so we do a lot of playtesting down here.
World Playtest Project, Astrid, and well, I think you guys were also playing in the
Playtest lab before if I'm not mistaken, right? Or in the streaming suite.
So yeah, the streaming suite, I actually streamed from there once, which was quite
fun. It was very, very soundproof. Like I literally, it was silence in that room.
Well, the other thing that's great here is we have a few of them have really,
really good speakers, right? So when we're playtesting at our desks, which
we do now multiple times a week, this is the best place to come to get
like a great sound experience.
And audio is really important to us.
We've got a pretty strong audio team.
Super important in survival as well, obviously.
So it's good to come down here and just sort of like boom it.
Yep, yep, love it.
I love all the Herman Millers.
I have a lot of these myself.
How many do you go through?
I don't go through them, but I do have a lot of them.
I have like 10 of them.
So about the same in this freaking room, but it's awesome.
This room's cool.
I do kind of want to walk around, maybe check out.
I kind of want to maybe check out the cafeteria.
Yeah, let's do it.
We can go by just.
I also don't want to bother anybody.
The cafeteria is a secret.
Oh yeah, you'd show a little memorabilia
from all the previous projects and gears.
And we've got two buildings.
Each of them is four stories tall, right?
So most people that are working right now
are upstairs in the second, third, and fourth floor
for the Americans.
That is the no-no zone.
No camera up there.
Yeah, exactly.
here not going up there. We stay down here. And then we've got the other building as well
right next door. Yeah, Wolfenstein. Yeah. I was so young when this came out, but I did
play it. That was my dad. That was actually one of my dad's favorite games. Oh, yeah.
Actually, yeah. He loved that game so much. Well, we've got the Wolfie T conference room
is named in its honor, of course.
Now we can go kind of check out the, we can see some people playing Smash on our way out,
so we just angle this way, we can see some Smash brothers on the way by.
We've also got a big auditorium here, so we do a lot of our larger meetings.
Can we pop in the auditorium?
Yeah, we can go in here.
We also, you could do a quick check going first, make sure the camera, I don't think
they ever know.
We are live, so our company values there are very important to us.
Company values, let's just wait out here for a sec.
Yeah, we're good.
We're good?
Yeah.
Nothing?
OK.
So we'll do some of the larger company meetings in here.
And also, importantly to me, this
will do the splash of damage.
I think it's called the whiskey club.
We'll occasionally meet in here.
This was for our first visit to the UK was here.
And we were both me and Chris.
We're just standing up right here in front of the microphone.
And my god was I nervous.
I don't know if you were.
Oh, I really like video games.
The room was full.
All the devs are here just shouting questions at us.
They're just like, what about this?
What about this?
Yeah, I'm like, oh my god.
It was freaking awesome.
It was freaking awesome.
But that was our first visit, too.
These are also big projector walls.
So the last time I saw a movie in here,
we got the new Ghostbusters film.
And John, lead tech artist on Project Astrid,
had the full handmade, like metal proton accelerator pack.
Like not the Hasbro one from the toy shop.
The full heavy duty cosplay lit up and everything.
And he came in with a jumpsuit
and everything with his own name embroidered on it.
And like, so you know Ghostbusters pretty well.
He's like, yes I do.
Halloween is definitely his favorite.
Oh yeah.
Like holiday, he loves that.
And he's a great tech artist as well.
He's leading our tech art teams and we're really lucky.
Oh, love this room, it's cool.
I want like a theater like this in my house.
I want this whole first floor in my house actually.
The streaming room.
Yeah, I want the hall.
Yeah, we could kind of walk over to the cafeteria.
Let me make sure really quick.
Is everything good?
Aunt Hannah, is everything good?
Yeah.
Everything's good?
OK, let's go that way.
Yeah.
Yeah, you could, if you don't want to show something,
you can go to the floor or whatever.
Dirty spots.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Hey Rich, do we want to put him on the spot?
Do we want to put you on the spot?
We're live right now, kind of doing a little walk through.
Yeah.
Thank you.
Well, this is great.
You're actually filming now.
Yeah, yeah, just like, we're keeping it, we're live.
We're live.
We're weirdly impromptu.
We are live.
Thank you.
Well, you have both.
Yeah, I mean, it's fine.
As you know, you can just introduce yourself
something really quick.
Hello, I am Rich Shulley, I'm co-founder and CEO of Swastamich.
Beautiful, that's literally it, we're just the legend, yeah.
Tell them you're really cool alias.
I can't tell my really cool alias. I devised my alias when I was like 19.
I don't think it was a very different world for online gaming at that point.
Esports was not even a term when I used to play to bed.
Even in this business a long freaking time.
Yeah, we were only swathing until about 20, 23 years ago, so, yeah, we were full on Indy when we started.
Literally, I started in the bedroom, right, so, yeah, I'm sleeping on the floor on a bed made of paper.
Looker eyes.
Was it muddings? Was it muddings?
That's cool.
Yeah, we were mottin', so we were mottin' the way it came out.
I feel like there's so many stories of, like, mod teams, and then getting picked up and then starting their own business and stuff.
Many of them, yeah.
Yeah, but, like, I don't want to waste any of the precious time. I just wanted a little introduction.
I've never come to here because it's so loud.
Oh yeah, we do have a schedule.
I mean, he might need to get back
so we can just take his microphone.
Whatever you guys need.
Yeah.
But thank you.
I didn't even notice that.
I didn't even know it was you.
Wow, okay, you're right.
Yeah.
Enjoy yourselves.
Yeah.
Thank you.
This saw the spot like, like, great.
Whoa, okay.
That was not, that was not planned, no.
Obviously what's inside the computer
is a super top secret,
but the outsides of the computers
in the server room, perfectly, perfectly fine.
I've never actually been in there.
I like to think it's like,
probably the most climate-controlled room in the building.
Yeah, so I heard about this room that it's like,
it has the, whatever, the protection at the top
where it like, lets out a certain-
Halon, Halon.
Yeah, I was like, okay.
So in case of fire, just put it out.
Service security is super-duper important, right?
So yeah, there's usually Halon systems in server rooms.
I don't know if we have one in here,
but if so, then I think the fire department
needs to be specially notified.
Halon's really good at putting out fires
without damaging things.
Not really good, you know, for your health to clean up after that, so that's why it's it if it's a hill on system
It's a closed room. Well quick quick tiny little tour
I know we're conscious of time so we got to go to London, but a quick tiny little tour of the cafeteria show
I mean, it's a cafeteria. Yeah, we do karaoke over there. We've got our
Large television here. Obviously people, you know go around, you know, we're in central Bromley
So there's a lot of good food around. Yeah, but people will often meet in here
We do gaming nights that people find right now board games a lot of board games people do a lot of warhammer in here as well
I
Yeah, we also occasionally will hire professional dungeon masters for D&D nights and things like that
So good activities. I love it and
Splash has a lot of people who are really really into warhammer. Oh, yeah, like top tier painters
Yeah, really really hot some of the best painters are from Splash
Yeah, some very, very good painters and the club there is called the Brush Lickers, of course.
Alright.
If you don't have the right amount of saliva on your brush, you can't quite get the details.
I think that what comes down.
Got it. Another little chill area where people could just game.
GameCube set up, a little rock band, a little foosball.
foosball. And then over here is pretty much just cafeteria stuff, honestly. Nothing too
crazy to show. There's like seven microwaves of bazillion ovens.
A lot of tea bags. Yeah, and these are the best snacks. But yeah.
This is UK snacks right here. Oh, you can't go that way. Okay. Can't go that way. But
we stay here. And we could twist that. Yeah, we should kind of head out of here so we
can stop taking important time for people. Avery is...
Are you gonna be heading down to the train station as well?
Well, we don't have much to...
I can't say, but I was gonna...
Oh, no, okay.
Let Avery just give a little bit of a...
That's my brief!
You kind of said what you do here,
and what you do now, but what about before?
Yeah, okay, so I've been in the industry
for a while, actually.
I don't even want to think about it.
I've been pushing 20 years.
Before that, I was studying video games from the outside.
games from the outside.
But coming to splash damage is sort of like a dream, right?
My wife tells me that I finally got my dream job.
So working on a game that I really love
and working with people that are super duper passionate
about what they do and just really talk to your talent.
Like, that's really exciting.
So as I say, I've only been here a year.
I might start getting a little more weary everyone
after two or three, four years at a company.
They might start to get a little tired,
but I've got all the enthusiasm right now.
I can't talk a lot about the project.
I mean, we know what's been announced.
Even just doing this was a little nerve-wracking.
And I'm just like, yeah, I'm just trying to show,
you know, like that we're here, we're vibing,
but just being safe at the same time.
I could say everyone is still working upstairs, right?
We're working really hard on the project.
And you guys got to play test it.
I mean, you play frequently,
but you got to play a recent build.
What did you think?
Did you enjoy it?
Was it surprising?
I mean, without revealing anything,
being as big as possible. It was great. I had a good time. It was much better to play in
person because I don't have to deal with the ping difference. We played at home. We had
like 200 ping to the U.K. So to be able to play in person and stuff was really, really
good. It's really, really hard to talk about this in a live setting without...
You have to be really careful. I don't want to say anything. I don't want to leak
any of that. Please, I don't want to be the one that leaks, so...
What's the role that you like? Obviously we know your title, but what is the role that you do here?
Oh, you know what's a tough one to describe. So the title is executive producer, but that really means different things everywhere.
I think it's because the video game industry tends to copy the movie industry, and it's sort of a catch-all title there.
Basically the way that Rich, for instance, describes my job is basically CEO of the game.
Interesting. That's a doper title.
title. Yeah, I suppose. I once tried to get a business card that said VicePrincess, pretty
pretty, and even that got blocked. That wasn't here. But no, so basically I don't actually
do much directly. I don't even have the editor installed on my computer because I don't want
to get caught drilling in and just hyper-focusing on anything like that. Mostly my job, the
way that I see it is every department has their vision. We got the art vision, we
We've got the design vision, we've got the technical vision,
we've got the creative direction.
Production and marketing have a vision
of what the game is when it comes to market.
My job is just to make all of those visions true
and to sort of fold them together and help break ties.
I do a lot of time in spreadsheets.
I look at a lot of them.
He loves spreadsheets.
Yeah, whenever we do design calls,
sometimes I'm like, hey, I've got a spreadsheet.
Here we go.
The design spreadsheets are maybe a little more fun.
I spend a lot of time on things like
resourcing, staff planning, head count,
velocity planning, outsourcing, that sort of thing,
making sure that the team is the right shape and size
for the phase that we're in,
and that we've got the right staff in place,
which is always tricky, right?
The video game industry has really highly skilled folk,
and we are increasingly specialized as the years go on.
So sometimes you need someone doing something
that the job title has only really existed
for a couple years.
So it, but getting to build a team
and hold a team together is a huge privilege.
And I came on to a team that already had a ton of talent already.
So as a recent person joining the team mostly, I'm just trying not to screw you up.
Mm-hm, yeah.
That's super cool.
Fair?
Yeah.
Yeah, we're running low on time here.
We've got to catch the train.
We've got to catch the train.
Thank you, Avery.
Thank you so much.
Yeah, of course.
Happy to.
You're welcome.
That's freaking awesome.
Yeah.
I love it.
Yeah, cheers.
Thanks, Mark.
Now it's time to walk around Bromley.
And yeah, we're going to the train station.
We're going to go to London.
Just be careful with the camera.
Make sure you don't show anything, you shouldn't.
Yeah, we're good, everything's good.
Maybe at this angle.
Yeah, now we're gonna kind of just like,
we don't wanna show anything, you never know.
So we're just gonna aim at the ground, aim at the ground.
Don't even show, yeah.
We can out without the-
Oh yeah, we need a pass.
Sorry, secret pass.
Oh, sorry.
wait we're being let out from the outside it's great okay all right we're good
all right well we're walking to the train station okay beautiful England's
well whatever you see is what cats is yeah it's not raining it's not raining
it's great I love that I love that for us yeah I love that I mean it's great for
The backpack is not waterproof but they said like if you need to put on a plastic bag or
something over it, because you could put it in a really tight backpack but it might overheat
or whatever.
This is weird.
Oh boy.
Oh yeah.
Oh yeah.
That's the good stuff.
Yeah.
That's loud.
Love that.
Oh my goodness.
Can we put it in the bag?
Oh my goodness. Can we get to the station? Yeah, I know where the
translation is. I love Bromley. Bromley is beautiful. Here's your Fallout London
navigation. Yeah, and Fallout London I found Bromley and I navigated. You can see this now and be like, oh, it is the thing from the back. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm assuming my
stream could still hear me, probably. I don't know. It's my first IRL stream, so this is kind of interesting, but I'm assuming you guys can still hear me.
I basically went and played Fallout London and the first thing I did is go to Bromley. Yeah,
And if you want to know why it's cuz
Flash family's in Broadway and here we are and we're gonna try to navigate music
fallout London with this bump in music let's go no no UK music uh-uh USA baby
That's Snoop Dogg. Dude it's so weird to look I don't know which way to look when
crossing the street. Yeah you're always like look right left right left it is
weird I like it I're out like walking around I'm walking around a city right
now I've never done this we can cross okay this is the jewel of Britain this is
the jewel of Britain Bromley problem is yeah I don't think I've never I don't
think I've ever done a stream like this where I'm just walking around yeah are
Are you looking at chat?
Yeah, yeah.
Yeah, yeah.
That was being cool.
Yeah, or is anyone saying anything just?
Anyone's asking questions or I don't know.
This is weird.
I've never done an IRL stream.
So let's take a little peek.
People just vibing.
Yeah?
I don't know.
That's what's up.
Why is no one recognizing him?
What?
Why would people?
He was in Heathrow for like 30 seconds
before someone could ever went, trial?
I have not recognized that much.
I'm not like, I'm not, you know, I'm not a frickin'.
What did the nice man say to you at the airport?
Oh yeah, I've been recognized by one guy at the airport
and he told me, have a nice day.
No, no, have a nice life.
Have a nice life.
You're like, what?
I was like, whoa, okay.
My bad.
It sounded like a threat.
Yeah, I thought I was about to get murdered,
but yeah, no.
Why am I gonna get recognized?
I'm not like a kison ad or anything.
I'm just normal, I'm a normal dude.
Well, kind of normal dude.
Mostly normal dude, yeah.
No, I do get recognized a decent bit, but like.
When you first came here, we went for lunch with the CEO.
The restaurant owner was like, a shroud.
Oh yeah, it happens all the time.
It happens sometimes.
You're humble.
It happens sometimes.
But it's kind of nice being a little incognito.
kind of just like, you know, just chillin'.
Yeah, no, it's nice.
It's been raining the past few days in Bromley,
so to be able to just walk around
and not have it rain is fantastic.
I love that for us.
Currently, we're basically going to dinner.
I'm not gonna stream dinner,
but we're basically gonna go take the train.
Is that what you guys call it here?
Is that what it's called?
Train or is it good?
It's not the tube.
Okay, we're taking a train, not the tube.
It's like a tube but above ground.
Okay, that's good.
We'll have reception.
But I'd imagine here in the UK the tube even has good reception too.
No, it's dead.
It's dead?
Yeah.
OK.
Never mind.
Never mind then.
But yeah, we're going to dinner.
We're not going to stream dinner.
We're just going to go kind of in central London-ish.
I don't even know.
But we're going to be walking around there for a little bit.
They said we've got a whole of London
to choose food from.
What do you want, Mike?
And you're like, chicken and eggs.
Yeah.
Yeah, the first thing I wanted is Nandos, of course.
You're going to be so tired after holding this.
I also do I also do wonder I don't have the backup the backup battery and so it's just
Yeah, I will I just figured watch the pole watch the pole
What's the pole and the street and the bus and the buses and danger everywhere here the UK dude look out?
But yeah, I don't have the backup battery. So
It's just like whatever life we have and we'll just live it. It's just like real life
Yeah
Yeah. Yeah.
It's a pharmacy.
Love it.
Yeah, yeah, this is...
It's charming.
A cool thing about Bromley, if you're wearing this hoodie, like the splash hoodie, the employee one,
you want. Splash is like the biggest employer in Bromley, so all the chains, the food chains
know about splash, so when you go in you get a discount. The deletion on the receipt, it'll
be like splash damage minus 15% or whatever. Let's go. That's why you wear it everywhere.
Get cheeky Nando's for free. I see, okay, okay. How can we cross? Danger? We can't
across. So, this is uh, I don't know. Yeah. We've been, we've been here a
decent bit. We know, yeah, we know Bromley well. Yeah, we know what we like. And in
Bromley, there's a little bit of everything. I mean, granted, it's not
like it's, you know, the food, for example, not like a meat is not 10 out of
10, but there's, there's everything here, which is great. There's food.
That's why we're going to London to get our food, yeah.
To get Anandos.
We're like Nandos here, but we're going to London to get Anandos.
I love it.
You enjoyed your first brumly cold Cinnabon.
Yeah, that's true.
You went to the Cinnabon and you're like, they don't even microwave it?
What the hell?
Yeah, I couldn't believe I got a dessert and I kept it cold.
Oh boy.
I wonder how well these microphones are.
I'm going in blind.
I'm trusting my production team, Hannah.
Hey, my production team, Hannah, is taking care of everything on the back end.
So if she texts me it's good, I look at my watch, she can do the update.
Yeah, it's great, everything's going well. Fantastic.
Yeah, people playing the mic's working well.
Yeah, if everything's picking up well.
We're in the part of town that's like walking only. There's no cars here.
Yeah, there's no cars here. No streets, only walking.
Little bit of America there.
Little bit of America.
Touch of America.
You want to get your high fructose syrup or whatever? Con-serup?
This is the part of, when I said I, it's nice and quiet now, or not near the street, thank goodness.
But this is the part that I was walking through in Fallout London, when I said I wanted to go to Bromley.
This was the part where I was walking through and recognizing everything.
And I doubt any of you guys were here watching me play Fallout London when I went to Bromley in Fallout London.
But once we start walking through this, you'll get that vibe.
So much so much, it adds it together. You're like, oh I know this place and then they can look at this photo and be like, oh yeah.
Oh, I need to buy a belt, man.
I need to buy a belt.
My pants are dropping.
It's not good.
Or it's a good thing.
Maybe it means I'm losing weight.
You know?
You never know.
Getting shredded, dude.
You cutting?
Chad, I want to show you from behind, you know?
It's too much for you guys.
That's what they're gonna be fine.
Exactly.
We say that for the premium price.
The bigger things are right, dude.
I love that you have Chad open because, like, now
my Chad doesn't wear my services back.
I don't know why. My service is bad, so I get to like kind of peek off you and see if it works in, which is cool.
Rough footage, shroud, touching grins.
There's no grass here, but yeah.
Play grass in English.
Yeah, there's no grass.
Just a fake cop-up.
Yeah, we kind of just quickly, I basically had this IRL backpack for a really, really long time,
and I was always kind of freaked out and I didn't want to use it.
I don't know, it's like a weird pressure.
Like from streaming from my room, it's easy.
Yeah, this is different.
This is a different environment like we're out in the world.
So, it's been weird.
I know. Now that I got past that barrier of clicking live on this backpack,
I could do it more frequently like I plan to do Disneyland at the end of the month,
maybe twice, because we ordered way too many tickets.
We ordered our own tickets and then someone else ordered tickets just in case for us,
because the Oogie Boogie Bash is hard to get into.
And I'm like, alright, I guess we're going twice.
Oogie Boogie Bash.
What?
I thought it was like a DLC for Disneyland?
Yes, exactly that.
That's the perfect way of putting it.
It's literally a DLC.
Basically close off one of the parks, the California Adventure.
They close it off for only people who have the Ogie Boogie Bash.
And they basically turn it into an event where it's like trick-or-treating.
And they have a bunch of actors that are talking shit to you pretty much.
Like you could walk past, like, we walk past...
Are you still with the kids?
No, it's in the adult park.
So there's alcohol and it's like adult trick-or-treating.
So you could go past like a villain
and you could talk shit to the villain
and they're a real actor
and they'll talk shit back in the theme of what they are.
So like in Toy Story, Sid, the big bully guy.
Well you finally punched him in the face
who didn't know that mad shit to the story.
Not quite, but I went up past them
and I was talking shit to him
and they're so snappy.
Oh, okay.
Yeah, they're so snappy when I talk shit.
I was just like,
you know, your line's empty, where are your fans?
And then he instantly was like,
Bro, it's closing, where's your critical thinking?
Everyone's leaving, everyone's leaving.
Like the way he did the voice acting, it was so good.
So it's kind of fun, like it's a fun little event.
But it's also-
I've got Star Wars people there,
is that Kyler run there?
No, cause it's in the other,
it's not in the Star Wars area, but I mean, maybe.
I didn't get to explore the whole thing
cause it's freaking huge, but look at how charming this is.
Isn't this lovely?
Isn't this lovely?
Every shop you can see here sells a bottle of water.
Literally.
And it's free on a Tuesday.
There's just so many.
I was talking to Chris earlier how there's so many shops.
Yeah, you said the shop density is so much higher
than America.
Like, it's just shop, shop, shop, shop, shop.
Yeah, it's crazy.
Look at them 20 shops per block.
Yeah.
It's a walking little town, a little central town area.
This place during the day is pretty bustling.
Like, you're told.
Yeah, it is.
I mean, even now, there's still a decent people.
High street.
High street.
I believe so I guess we did there's Greg's everywhere we always pass the
Greg's that's like that's like passing a Starbucks in America just you're always
passing cultural exchange we've got five guys you get a prep I believe we're
passing am I crazy we're about to pass the Glades or soon I don't think we
pass it yet let's do I know my Bromley I do know my Bromley I do know I know my
Bromley is in the game yeah so it's all the fight fall London the first thing I
did is rush to the Glades and there was so many people in there like people to
fight it was insane but yeah that's how I that's how I knew I was in the right
spot and then I worked my way to the train station which is also funny
enough where we're going right now and then I found the train station I
I found the office.
That's so cool.
Yep.
The hardest thing about being in the UK
is looking the wrong way.
Yeah, every time I try to cross the street,
I'm like, which way do I look?
I've been in Canada so long now.
I'm the same.
Yeah.
Yeah.
These are more complicated.
So you're even used to?
Yeah.
American, left, right, right, right.
Which way is right?
And which way is wrong?
Driving.
The eternal ocean.
Fahrenheit or Celsius.
So I think the British way is right.
because you draw your sword, your sword is on your left.
We don't have swords anymore.
I mean, when very, like, lore and stuff was being right, like...
Chris, you know what? It's called riding chocolate, right?
Because that's where you put your gun.
That's a fair point.
That's a fair point.
Horse-tron carriages versus, you know, automobiles.
Yeah, we just adapted to the times.
That's why we drive on the proper side of the road.
So it's easier to do trunk fun.
With a friend, yeah, apparently.
I wonder how those backpacks gonna do on the train, but like the service seems okay. I'm assuming the quality is fine mostly
Well, he's good
No, the only thing is we don't have like a proper like we don't have a gimbal
We don't have like a crazy setup. Yeah, like a gear. Yeah, you try to keep all the girls
You weren't yeah, we need you to believe you be as steady as possible, but yeah, we don't have like proper stuff. It was just kind of a
You know
Yeah, I mean you're doing great as camera man. You're working with what you got no gimbal. Maybe I should have brought it. I don't know
Gimbal's heavy like so I was testing the gimbal before and I was like, oh, this is sick, but
You don't even use your hands, it's just like on your chest, there's no weight, there's
no doubt.
I mean, maybe in the future, if this IRL thing is fun and I enjoy it and I do it more, maybe
I pay a camera guy, currently our camera guy now is unpaid, he's working for free,
a volunteer, if you will.
We're paying him off with the Greggs, we're giving him a fine, I'm a cheap trick.
We're almost there.
those who are about to approach it, what is a Gregg's?
What is a Gregg's?
So you've probably heard of French cuisine, you've probably heard of the Michelin star.
Gregg's is the peak, the pinnacle if you will, of English cuisine.
Each meal is perfectly balanced to give you as much fat clog up in your heart arteries as possible.
But delivering the most amount of taste per square inch is scientifically possible.
So inspired by America?
Yeah, we want to be Americans so bad.
That's good.
Oh, there's the Greggs.
Oh, look at that.
The pinnacle of culture.
The finest chefs working there.
Are you trying to flop in?
Yeah.
Hi.
Do you want to get a bottle of water?
Do you want to get some water?
head out. Let's head out. Oh yeah we do have to catch a train. No we got to catch this train.
Is the train really cork- oh oh we missed it. Don't leak anything.
There's someone texting you at that moment. I'm even scared of my wash so I'm trying to like hide it.
You're trying to like put the camera on me but also dodge all the people.
train station wait so do do they get like a VIP pass where we get extra passes off
them or do we have to buy tickets do it and I don't have sat pay on my can you do
for me none of my watch though I didn't know the thing is that tech that you do
here okay well no I know I know how I'm saying like does it work on the
train station yeah okay I I do not
train so I've had trains for you
you put about 15 minutes okay you want to hang out in the station you want to hang
out in here okay we could go in the station he's a car there right yeah
could someone pay for me thank you I scream a privilege sorry this is bullshit oh yeah of course
my bad my bad Romley's beautiful beautiful although we're here for splash damage if you're
familiar if you're familiar yeah let's get let's hope you go say bubble water
bubble yeah bubble one no problem yeah nice to meet you yeah yeah my first
stream sniper my first my first stream sniper nice to meet you he bowed to you
dude yeah he bowed English game I went to shake his hand and I didn't it's all
It's fine. He didn't notice. It's fine. It's fine.
You just talked about that.
Hi Gene.
No, getting recognized.
Oh, getting recognized, okay.
Yeah, I don't get recognized. It's all bouncy five minutes later.
I don't know how he said he checked my stream and he saw I was a Bromley,
and he's like, wait a second, I'm right down the street.
That's cool.
Okay.
Don't leak anything.
Don't leak anything.
Don't leak anything.
I don't know if you can leak, but...
Just swipe and then walk in.
I'm not doing it.
Oh, that's right.
Yeah, I just turn on the ground in case someone leaks their card info or something and walk me through
Okay, now we're good to show we're back
I don't even know if there's anything you could leave but people are crazy
That's not stunts you
I don't swipe his face. I'm proud. Let me in please
I wonder what the, uh, good catch, good catch.
Let me take a peek really quick.
I'm gonna take a peek at your back.
You could...
Okay.
I just wanted another battery.
We're good.
We'll have enough time to kind of get to London and probably walk around London a little
bit and then it'll probably die.
We'll visit the Queen.
Actually, the time you said to work out, it's not going to be a long stream, it's probably
going to be only like an hour.
I don't know.
Test run, whatever.
Learn.
What do you want to do?
It's been a long time since I went to the show.
I want to know.
Yeah, what is chat?
Let me pull up chat actually.
Let's talk to you guys for a little bit.
All right, yeah.
Let's see if my service works really quick.
Hannah did text me saying, everything's all great.
Nice.
Oh.
In fact, I need the best.
It's not a safe place for you.
We're coming out of this station here in the middle.
Watch out for the knives.
I'm just gonna say it, right?
Which not, it's Jesus.
Watch, Evelyn, that's the first thing I read.
Usually I do look out, now I'm deeply focused on
the other thing, you know, I got a fucking backpack on.
My chat's not, my chat don't work.
If I'm talking about my own.
How does yours work?
I've got data, homie.
Okay, well I'll read from her phone, Jet Knives.
Did you come here to steal our weather, Callie Boy?
Okay.
You did say you wanted it to rain.
And then we went for food and it was raining,
you like this sucks.
The rain was cool for about 10 minutes.
I hope this is not your last IRL stream.
I don't know if that's like a threat.
Is that like a threat or?
Where's Manchester?
How much delays on the stream is that
for the Queen's dad?
What?
That's a great joke.
That's good.
That's good, Joe.
That's good.
Manchester's far.
Travel looks taller than I thought he was.
Well, it's because I'm standing next to Annie.
So thank you for making me look tall.
I hear tall shoes on today.
Yeah, I can stand next to Chris, right?
Chris can come next to me.
And then you can see my real height, I guess.
How tall are you?
5'11".
There you go.
He's 5'11".
I'm whatever.
I don't know.
It's something.
I think I'm 5'1".
It doesn't matter, dude.
All right.
Aw.
It's chill.
Good vibes, Intran.
It's chill.
It's chill.
I feel slightly bad for putting Rich on the spot,
But hopefully it was okay.
No, I went and checked.
He was cool.
Okay.
I was like, oh my bad.
He's like, hi, we're live.
And he's like, oh.
Oh, zero to 100.
No, he's cool.
Well, I want to kind of, if it ends up being okay,
like obviously we got permission to go and splash damage
and like live stream a little bit.
But in the future,
because we're going to be visiting Bromley
and stuff often to check out what's going on
with Project Astrid.
In the future, I want to maybe do
a little bit more of that, right?
It's just cool to get the community a little bit more involved, kind of let everyone know that this project is full force, you know what?
So I'm glad that they let me do it, and hopefully they'll let me do it on the next visit. So that's what's up.
How long?
I don't know. We're waiting for this train.
Is this the right side? Yeah.
I trust you guys. You guys know what you're doing.
What have you done?
What did you do?
Stop.
Silence.
Cerecancel.
Cerecancel, please.
Xbox, turn off.
Let's just move somewhere else.
We're just going to move somewhere else.
We didn't push that button.
Typical American.
Typical Americans. Typical Americans.
Yeah, yeah.
That's the American alarm.
It's like a microphone that could hear your accent.
American detection.
Boop, boop, boop, boop.
Oh, my God.
Yeah, one edge.
Yeah, one edge.
Yeah, someone's having a heart attack.
You'd be like, do, do, do, do, do.
That's it.
That's it.
That's your microphone.
I don't know if they can hear you.
You don't have a microphone.
But you're close.
Here, let's sess it.
Yoni's going to talk.
Can you hear him?
I don't want to zoom in.
You can zoom, but don't bother, honestly.
Don't bother.
Don't break anything.
Let's sess it.
Yoni can sign it.
Oh, yeah.
I can hear you.
I can hear you.
OK, so the microphone can pick up in a radius.
So even if I'm like right next to you like this, or...
What do you mean, no lease?
We don't even leave anything.
We don't even leave anything.
We don't even leave anything.
Yeah.
Is this an active train?
This what is that?
Legend.
Mind the gap, my bad.
Sorry.
Sorry.
My fault.
My fault.
Now we wait.
The problem is right now, everybody in LA is waking up and we're getting hit up
left and right on work and you're trying to work and you're going to work and work the
camera I got you well listen we'll only be live for like we're basically going to go get
to London and just kind of walk around a little bit and then once we go to dinner and then
yeah basically cut off before we go to dinner and that's it visit Hogwarts visit oh yeah
wait that's an English thing there is there's a Hogwarts thing I've been to the Hogwarts
like oh you can go to a studio or go to what's that that is an English thing platform
two and a half or whatever is what they run into the wall was that here yeah that's it
that's it no it's that Kings Cross oh it's it's not English we're on the screen do we just don't bring up
Oh boy.
Oh boy.
She can listen to me.
Right, right, right, right.
Right, right, right, right.
We're not going into detail.
Why did we do that last two days?
Oh yeah, we have been in...
Lots of meetings.
We've been in Bramble.
The different disciplines,
because I think that's what's different about this project,
is typically when streamers do this kind of thing,
it's kind of like a few months before the project
goes live it's like hey play our game and give us feedback on what you like
whereas this is genuinely from yeah from the beginning from the beginning
yeah I don't even know we've been working on it for three years three years
I mean, when Chris reached out to me, it feels like that was four years ago.
Yeah.
We worked on live 2019.
Yeah.
Chris, you reached out to me in, I think it was 2019.
Yeah, it's a long time ago.
Maybe, I don't know.
But it doesn't matter.
It was like five years, four years.
Yeah, yeah, so four years me and Chris got together to make a game and now three years ago
I splashed damage picked up that game pretty much
And now yeah, we started working with them three years ago from from ground zero from the very beginning is a train
This is not our training. It's a slow rate. Next one
This is a slower train
They'll never know.
Interesting.
Alright, the next train is ours, I guess.
Well yeah, to carry on that.
Are you trying to zoom in?
Departure.
Look at the name of this language. Orpington.
I'm going to Orpington.
Papa, can I go to Ramsgate, please?
Ramsgate.
I'm going to Ramsgate via Orpington.
The Rams.
You're familiar with the Rams because of your hometown
Yeah, I thought what teams called around there when they opened the stadium and the queen opened it
Yeah
What was it like
Well, do you kind of form this massive line if she kind of walks along and just kind of like she shakes hands with some people like
Did she know you were like
I was like working in the chimney or some shit, but yeah, and then she went out onto the football pitch with like these big
parasitizers and cut like a ribbon thing and everyone went mad.
The realms.
The realms.
Yeah.
That's what was in the world.
RIP.
To the Queen.
To the Queen.
Well, one time, one of the people here made his first visit a few years ago.
I guess I don't know.
He landed here in London for a day after.
Yeah, that was Hannah's first visit to the UK.
his first visit and it was just yeah it was it was a weird vibe for sure yeah
yeah the culture is very different for sure
We kind of stopped off the Queen, but yeah.
What do you think of the current Queen?
Actually, let's not talk about it.
Let's see. The Queen's doing great.
The Queen is coping.
The Queen is great. Distract them with the dog.
You're a dog. You're a dog. It's a Tuesday.
Tuesday.
What day is it? Today is Wednesday.
Yeah.
Today is Wednesday, Ethan. These guys landlord Sunday night.
Monday night.
Monday night.
Boy
Four-day work we have
Flash damage four-day weeks
It's on the side
Jail I can't be so hard at this time like seven
And then we just got to go right back and then fight fight jet lag again
Yeah, that's true. That's true. I've fought jet lag before. It's all good.
Yeah, it's a quick trip.
So many trains. So many people. So many people. Sorry. My bad. My bad.
Trying to not be in the way and end up being in the way. Of course.
We're going to stand right in the middle. Do not move.
Typical American. Canadian. Canadian. Canadian.
I think you're going to everything.
When I'm in America, I say I'm American. When I'm here, I say I'm Canadian.
Yeah, it's got really good to have.
End of work.
Yeah.
Is this our train?
This is our train. Beautiful.
Make sure we face the direction we're going to.
I don't think I really get motion sickness on our train.
But sometimes, maybe.
I was on this train last time, last time we were here in the UK.
I took the train.
I turn the train with Hannah.
Let's see how the service is on the train, you know?
Yeah, I mean, I'm sure when we go through like a tunnel
or something, it might drop service.
So be prepared for the service to maybe drop.
I don't know.
But yeah, we're going in, I guess.
We grab inside.
Should I sit next to Chris?
Yeah, both mics.
I don't think the mic's really echo off each other.
I don't think it will be fine.
Yeah.
We're going to the country side?
Yes.
We're just going to angle it this way
so that we don't get any unnecessary passengers.
Does this train do any loops?
What?
Yeah.
Maybe that's another helicopter.
So that's a train.
Yeah, the mics are really good.
Yeah, the mics are good.
I think we got this mic set up from, uh...
Chens getting killed in his...
Oh.
I think we got the mic set up from, uh...
NMP.
I think NMP suggested it, or used it once, and then someone else used it, and
everybody's using it.
NMP's like the king of the tech stuff.
He does so many other girls.
Yeah, he's like the king of it.
I think he just loves setting it up, you know?
Shroud's in his chair, yeah, that's true.
See how it does in this tunnel?
Well, it's not really a tunnel, but it's like weird that I want to talk because we're on a train, but like, but I have to talk because I'm live.
It's going to bounce back and forth, because we'll be in a tunnel and we'll be in a tunnel.
No, yeah, it doesn't drop shrimp.
You could know you could that is a tripod so it could pop it open, but then you then it might say my name might I might fall
though right and then you could I think you have to hold this button this button right here and then you tilt like that
Have you seen train of Busan I have seen train to Busan. Yeah, it was good. It's so good. Have you seen it?
Korean zombies
The agent kind comes up to the good games guy. Oh, yeah, the guy must be
Aren't they looking at another one or is that big deal?
It looks cool
Korean customers?
Yes, I haven't seen it.
Korean customers?
It's the best.
The best.
The best.
You only get to work now while holding the camera?
I'm checking to make sure there's nothing on fire.
Off the rails?
Yeah.
I think we're okay.
Yeah.
Have you worked physical 100?
I have.
It's not, but okay.
It's so good.
I like physical 100.
Someone said go to Piccadilly service and go to Shoryo Ramen Shop.
Well, we're not going to be there long enough to do that, but maybe next time.
Where's Piccadilly?
It's like another stop. It's a very thirsty area.
There's a lot of American candy shops, which is really random to me.
Is that where the Big Eminem store is?
I think so.
It's a war crime, that store. It's horrendous.
I think Piccadilly Circus is probably a town store.
It's a bit of a tourist trap.
I think it's massive M&M stores like the candy, like the lemon.
They have one in Vegas.
It's got like a massive 100 foot M&M dude on the front there.
And it's like three stories.
How many M&M's do you think?
I think there's three stories.
So that if you spend enough time in there,
you realize how much of a time you could jump
from the first four and seven.
You can get off the special store
like the exclusive containers.
Or you can get your own mix of M&M.
You get personal mix of M&M.
Is this a hashtag app?
No.
It's an atrocity.
I've never seen that.
And this is a Piccadilly Circus?
Yeah, but there's also one in Vegas.
I feel like I've been there, but I've never...
You'd remember.
It leaves a scar.
It leaves a scar.
There's no way it's actually 100 feet.
It's like a huge...
It's a big boy.
It's at least a story talk.
And it's huge.
Yeah
You'd be max level in TNL by now. I'm already max level. Hello. I
Actually did bring my laptop to play Throne of Liberty
I was playing a little bit just to make sure I participate in a couple wars couple world bosses
The laptop is nice. They'll make your mid-year laptop
I was thinking about even if I had time using this backpack and then streaming myself playing
Throne of Liberty, but that's only if I have time.
Streaming myself playing Throne of Liberty from the hotel, but
You could put the camera looking at the laptop with the game and then a mirror on the table next to it for your face
It'll be like a stream in a stream
I have a question for you. How many seconds was it?
I'm gonna hit with your leg
Fast
Fast and furious
America
Who was that?
Weebag
Yeah, it was a long tunnel
Long tunnel
My stream is probably like so
My stream is probably so confused, this format.
Why are you lying? Why is it in my time? What's going on?
Yeah, they're probably so confused.
As I think about, like, we talked about it before with content creators,
when people watch people's streams, they want to watch the content creator
in the space that they're used to seeing.
So, like, people seeing this stream are probably, like, what is happening.
And they're probably so, like, almost uncomfortable. They're like, this is weird.
Well, get comfortable with it.
Yeah. Yeah. It is really early too in N.A., right? Yeah, my stream is not live at 10 usually.
Do you have your phone? I do have my phone. Why? I got everything.
Oh, I think we cut off before the question asked you.
You cut off before the question? Yeah, I remember that. How many seconds was it before you set your hotel on fire?
Oh, we missed the whole story. People only got the story.
Long story short, Mike plugged something in immediately and it exploded at all the sides.
It didn't add it.
It was a bad dramatic.
He barely made it.
He just plugged something in and it just popped.
I think we're going to London real quick just an hour away.
We're just not going to be mad.
Why would you do that?
Yeah.
And at the moment, I'm over the top.
It's a good idea to show you that what you do with the team.
Yeah, yeah, we can we unfortunately can't show anything. Yes, but soon soon TM is what I always say
Oh, yeah, for sure
The light on shrouds Mike needs to be pointed towards now. Oh, it works like that
Oh, oh that is the mic
Yeah. I feel like if it wasn't working well we would have had one.
Yeah, it was pointed this way. Good call, chatter. Good comms. Good comms on that, yeah.
Flash damage, flash damage just put this studio that we're making a game with.
Making a game with, yeah. Huge. Huge. Huge game. Massive game.
What else did they work on?
What else did they work on? Well, it would be the most recent, most recent would probably be Dirty Bomb, if I had to guess.
guess I mean like most recent their own IP their own IP like they've been they've
been doing a lot of like work for higher stuff but their own their own IP most
recent would have been dirty but yeah but they worked on gears of war they
They worked on Halo that's right. Yeah they did work on a Batman.
Yeah they have a large portfolio with a lot of, they've, like Splash Gaming just probably
touched a lot of games that you guys have played.
You may not even know. You may not even know. Yeah they've worked on a lot of games. Like
we just named.
And what's cool is when we were introduced to new people not before it's like, oh this
is Stone Slayer, she's been the head engineer at Splash for like 20 years.
Yeah, so it's not like they've built up a massive talented technical base
Which is really refreshing because then when we talk about game features. Oh, we'd like this we'd like that
This engineers there immediately like oh, we're figuring out how to do that. So it's super sure
Yep
Long the works are we're not tunneling in
It's too dark to say anything.
Manchester now, if you're Manchester.
We have not crossed the river.
When the gunshot stopped, then we'd be Birmingham.
And then, a little bit after that, we're in sanctuary.
Birmingham.
Birmingham.
I've been to Birmingham, Burmese, Birmingham.
You're always quiet, are you?
Chris, what is the most British thing?
What's the most British thing?
Just a general? A period British thing?
Dental car? No, that can't be right.
Terrific.
I'm a naval warfare? I don't know.
What is the most British thing?
What's the most British thing in the universe?
Yorkshire pudding.
What is that?
That's our contribution to society.
Is that like a turnip or a denture?
No, it's kind of like batter that's in the shape of like a cup and then you have it with
a meal that's like usually...
Is that a cup shape?
Traditionally they're quite small but you can actually get them to be the plate of
your meal and then you put meat, vegetables, gravy.
I see no Yorkshire pudding like burrito basically.
Yeah, essentially, yeah.
They're so good.
Where they put the roast meal.
What is it made of?
It's like flour, egg, milk I think.
Yorkshire pudding? Yeah. It's flour. It's not a sweet thing. It's a sweet thing. It's a sweet thing.
Think like butter. Almost like a crepe or a Dutch baby. A Dutch baby?
A Dutch baby. A Dutch baby. A Dutch baby.
Y'all lost me. I'm lost. This is a super way. Y'all lost me.
I'll pull up. Can we get it? Yeah.
What's the most American? What's the most American?
What's the most American? What's the most American?
These are like the small bears. Eagle wings?
This is a chimney.
Oh.
They're the best.
They're the best.
That's not pudding.
I know.
That's a pastry.
They have weird names.
They have weird names.
It's like a bread.
It is a bread.
They also call chips fries.
Crisps.
We call fries.
We call crisps chips and they call chips fries.
Yeah.
We call chips fries.
Another weird thing with pudding.
I don't know if it's just me.
Do you like to call all desserts puddings like oh, what's for pudding and then it means you could have apple pie you could have anything
I lived in Japan for a while and I met someone and we had a meal and they were like
Oh, what do you want to do for dessert something like oh for pudding and they're like, oh
I know a pudding place and we walked across Japan for like an hour and I actually don't like
the dessert pudding
I meant the words that I meant the word dessert as in a dessert I would like and we walked for like an hour to a
pudding shop she's like this is the only pudding place in Japan I was like I don't
like pudding she's like what do you want about and I explained no no pudding
me dessert like an apple pie something she's like where we came from the
double price it's like we call fizzy drinks pop yeah so yeah in America it depends where you are
they have different names some people call pop some people talk some people
call it Coca Cola. Like any brand of drink. Do you call it Soda? Soda pops? I'm not a
single person. I don't think I met a single person that calls soda coke all soda. It's
like a Georgia. Yeah, that's a Southern. From Texas. You're like, do you want a Coke?
I got to try it.
And they also call ketchup catsup or something in Georgia?
I thought that was British.
No?
I got tomato sauce.
Maybe in Louisiana.
It's just about what you call it, tomato sauce.
Tomato sauce.
Tomato sauce.
Would you call ketchup tomato sauce?
Tomato sauce.
Yeah, if you're at a chip, yeah, yeah.
You've just sent tomato sauce?
Yeah, if you've just sent tomato sauce, man.
But then he's sent to Americans and they think you've been late.
Tomato sauce and brown sauce.
Yeah.
What is brown sauce?
Pragy.
I don't know.
I think it's fake sauce.
I think it's fake sauce.
I don't know.
It's like a spicy...
Is it like a spiced sauce?
Yeah, kind of.
It's like peppered spicy.
It's not actually spicy.
It's not actually spicy.
It's not brown.
It's not brown.
It's musty.
Just UK things.
Oh, which British that?
We've got London Bridge or Cowell Bridge?
No, I don't think so.
Is it any of the fancy ones?
The Bromley Bridge.
That's in the Battersea.
Battersea.
Oh, yeah, that's right, yeah.
We just crossed the river.
Oh, I don't know what you're talking about.
I mean, what are you doing over here?
Uh, not ahead.
Not ahead.
Not ahead.
I'm playing Pogo.
I'm just kidding.
I'm just kidding.
I'm all in there.
She's getting way approachable.
Well, you're playing Pokemon though?
Yeah.
That's still a thing.
Yeah.
They added a bunch of new stuff to it.
Wait, do you get UK Pokemon or Pokemon though?
Yeah.
It's a cute thing.
They got exclusive.
Oh, that's why.
So I got pink things.
What's your most powerful or rare Pokemon?
Uh, okay.
Is that pay to win?
Because if you could travel the world, you'd get better Pokemon.
They're just different.
That's what pay to win players say.
It's just different. Trust me, I know all about pay to win.
You smut the shiny...
Do you like this one shiny?
This is old.
What would it be?
It's normal color.
Oh, yeah, that's good.
Is this like a L'Occitane 2018?
But that's normal color.
And then this is the shiny color.
You got shiny Pokemon?
Yeah, it's sparkling.
Is this us?
Not quite.
Where are we?
It was direct service.
It's concerning nobody knows. Where are we? We're in France. Are we in like a tunnel right now? No.
This is open? Yeah. Looks like a tunnel. This is crazy. Was this like the main? No, no, no, no. No, this is the main station.
Dude, the main station. Yeah, I'm not sure where it is. We just walked 15 minutes and then go a couple minutes later.
We could just go straight there. I'm already live for like an hour. I know I'm hungry. I don't care.
Okay, damn.
I love you, Jet.
Yeah.
We're here. We're made it.
Unless there's something close that's cool that we could walk to.
Well, Buckingham Palace is about 10 minutes.
Oh, no.
What's your favorite American Palace?
You can go there and walk back.
Yeah.
Just do the little, is it 10 minutes before he found us from that?
You can get the scooter, lady.
No, that's dangerous, we're not scooters.
No, we're not scooters.
Do you not know the story?
No, yeah, I can't.
Oh, he's 50 minutes away.
No, wait, we don't need this, wait, wait, wait.
He rode a scooter, went flying off of it, busted his elbow.
You only had to take him to the hospital.
That's true.
I bled on his car, in his car.
We, with the cast on, was screaming, playing.
I did, I did believe in his car.
you're really under the cast on the rain with so much under playing it was about
come on you could see the bone but it wasn't if you see the bonus that's the
rule is that a general rule of thumb when you're if you can see the bonus
back you don't need a point on me all right now you can point on me yeah we
could just I don't want to like show where we're going to dinner but we
You could just walk a little bit more.
Crispy green.
Crispy green.
The station's cool. I don't know if I've been to this one.
Oh, we have?
Oh, yeah. I know the station.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
All right.
Bet.
Is this where we're going?
This is our way?
If you have a swipe for you, you need to swipe again.
Any needs a swipe for me?
Sorry, I'm going to point on the ground again real quick.
Sorry, I don't want to leak any phones.
All right, we're good.
Sorry.
All right, we're good.
We're back.
How does it feel being a camera man?
How does it feel?
What's that?
Did you used to be a camera man?
We need to wait for the gang.
Hold up.
We need to wait for the gang so we know where we're going.
Yeah, we can wait.
We can wait.
We can go to the corner here.
We can wait.
We know how far our dinner is from here.
Five or ten minutes.
Five or ten minutes?
Okay.
Maybe we walk for a few minutes and I just cut it off so we don't directly go to dinner,
I guess.
Okay.
Sure.
You're going to try to do this?
The side angle?
Okay.
It's your best side.
What?
Oh, wait, what?
What's that made of?
True.
Yeah.
I'm a follower, not a leader.
Oh my god, my damn pants, man.
You mean your trousers.
My trousers.
Oh, this is pretty.
Cool little walkway.
Culture, I think.
I don't know.
I don't know.
This might not be culture.
I mean, yeah, like, there's some beautiful buildings out there.
Yeah.
You're actually, the name of the palace is actually quite long.
Yeah, this is really cool looking actually.
I think I've been here. I just don't remember it. I've been to the UK a lot of times in my ears
But I have the worst memory I think I'm gonna get old and I'm gonna what's it called when you forget stuff all-timers
I think I'm gonna get I think I'm gonna get that
all-timers
My memory is so bad now
We get what that's pretty cool
I have, I've solved it.
There's a movie coming out, it's it.
Is this a new, is this a new play?
No, it's not.
I saw, I saw the old Wicked like 20 years ago.
In the English version, we use real witches.
Huh?
So.
What does that mean?
Like they do magic?
Yeah.
They take you around and collect ginger people and put them in shacks.
That's wicked, bro.
It's funny, because before the internet, stuff like that, like you said, probably
spread like wildfire.
Right.
like that's not true. This is cool. I'm following you guys. I don't know it's hard to see. That's
where Mike's staying. Are you buying this? Are you moving? Yeah. Yeah. In fact, I already
bought it.
We are at Escrow, yeah.
But how cool would it be to have the Avengers Tower somewhere, you know?
You just look up, you see the Avengers level up.
Yeah, just look.
God, I love Marvel.
That is crazy.
The bus is everywhere.
Is this like a bus station too?
Yes.
It looks like one.
It's a hub.
It's a hub.
Transport hub, yeah, I'd say.
That's cool.
You get a lot of it.
Call it hubs.
Yeah.
It's a hub.
It's a hub.
It's a hub.
It's a hub.
It's a hub.
We'll probably walk for a few more minutes and probably cut it off because we're about
to be at dinner.
Dinner reservation is a few minutes away.
What is the backpack?
Let's take a peek.
The backpack's at, the backpack actually has a lot more life than I thought.
Technically, technically we could go for another, probably an hour and a half maybe
more.
But it has a backup battery that I didn't bring, so obviously I didn't think I'd be
live that long and it's only been about an hour I'm guessing about an hour hot
it's not getting hot or the backpack yeah no it's not gonna get it's also cool
outside too right okay so we're just gonna hang it hanging out here got it
that's a cool little restaurant the shakes there look fancy a little
restaurant up there yeti
I'm sure you're straight from
I'm shaking
yeah
oh boy
doggy
you were technically rivals
how far is Darby?
in the car
so you guys just take trains everywhere
everywhere yeah yeah he looked at me yeah obviously we take trades everywhere
in case you guys are wondering on stream we're not throwing the camera at other people in case
they don't want to be on stream in a typical environment you'd probably be like if you were
We're a cameraman whipping every single person, but I mean, I don't want to intrude or show
anyone.
Oh yeah, we're talking to them.
I'm just saying, that's why you're not whipping the camera around.
We have people that might not want to be on camera.
Do you have a friend?
Yeah, what up?
Yeah.
Yeah.
No problem, nice to meet you.
Yeah, no problem, guys.
Hey, I didn't say that, my chat there.
I walk past one, the first person we walk past
someone said it in chat, like how crazy.
I feel like chat is always so extra.
Well, chat in general is just so extra.
There's a lot of iterations of Mike in short term.
From Shader Mike to MMO Mike to MMO Mike, now we're IRL Mike.
Yeah.
Yeah.
We know we're in fact IRL.
Yeah, a lot of people are there now.
Yeah.
Cool to learn that.
There's a little park over there.
I think we've walked through that park last time we were here back there.
When we were here last is when they shut down all the cities where the Queens were.
Yeah, that's true.
The last time we were here, this whole city was pretty much, the whole city was at morning
and it was pretty much just, everything was locked down and, yeah.
Obviously, when I finally go, the lockdown, all of Darby, both streets.
It was definitely a weird vibe for sure.
Like if that happened to, like what would happen if that happened in like America or
something like I would never I don't even know what the reaction would be right
I don't know who would be the person but yeah to see everybody in one whole city
I think Keanu Reeves Keanu Reeves? Wait, he's Canadian. Oh Tom Hanks. If Tom Hanks went, I think the whole world is in Keanu Reeves.
He is right. Tom Hanks. I don't think he's American. I swear he's Canadian. He is? I swear. I'm claiming him. I swear he's Canadian.
I think he is Canadian. I'm pretty sure I'm claiming him. Tom Hanks is Canadian.
Yeah, not Tom Hanks, but who cares Tom Hanks is for boomers, bro
That's true
So you guys
I'm assuming we're probably gonna get close here because it's not that far of a walk so I don't know if we
kind of
Want to just end it and call it. Yeah, I think we just call it quits. I think now because we're gonna get there soon
But yeah, I don't want to
I don't know. I don't know if I don't know if there's any final words
Maybe final thoughts. I don't know how long it's been but to the people that have been here watching vibing
Appreciate you guys. I know this was kind of
Random and out of nowhere
Uh, yeah, it was fun, short-lived, but fun.
Thank you, Chris, for being there.
Maybe we should do one each day with him.
Yeah, no, I want, that's why I did this this time.
I did this stream as like a test to be like,
okay, let's just get it out of the way.
Let's learn from it and see if we want to do it again
and see if it's for my, like, kind of fits me
and fits like what I want to do.
And I mean, it's cool, it's a vibe, it's different.
I enjoy it.
I don't think it's chill.
Yeah, everyone's chill.
So yeah, definitely going to do more IRL stuff
in the future. Probably the next one is going to be Disneyland at the end of the month.
But, yeah, thank you to Chat for being here. We're probably going to close it here since
we're getting close to a restaurant. Thank you to Splash Damage for obviously letting
me showcase and show the bottom floor and talk to some people on stream. That's cool.
Thank you to Chris.
Hello.
Any final things?
Any final things?
Let's go, Queen.
Yeah, are we good? We're good. I think we're good. We call it there. Hannah,
if you want, you could cue the end of the stream.
Thanks, Hannah.
Thank you, Hannah, you can cue the end, whatever you want, all right?
Goodbye everybody, goodbye.
