and what's your recovery process been like?
I'm glad that we just got the chance
to advance straight to the finals
and we didn't have to play yesterday.
Last game I went up for the layup,
something in my knee popped.
I don't know what it is.
It happens to me in the past before,
but something happened.
My recovery been looking like I've been,
I've been in some Epsom salt,
some ice bath and I just ice my knee
every time I went to sleep.
So it's feeling okay right now,
but there's still a little bit of pain there.
I'm just trying to stick through it
and push through for my team.
Yeah, hopefully this doesn't affect you today because before the injury against some of the best eight and nine year olds in the world, you've had a record shattering season in the LBA.
You're the all time leading rebounder in the LBA. Last game, 29 rebounds. What's helped you be so dominant on the board?
Just my teammates. You feel what I'm saying? They push me every single day. They allow me to be me on the court wherever they need help at. I'm there for them.
And I'm just let them do their thing on the court. And where I feel like I'm dominant at, I'm just keep doing it if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
You mentioned your teammates.
They have your back.
You have theirs.
You're one of the team leaders.
What's your pregame message today with the championship
on the line?
Pregame message is, you know, we
can't get too hyper right now.
This is a normal game.
We going into this, like this is a same old game
that we got to just come in here, get the win.
We can't be overthinking it.
Can't be nervous, got to be confident,
and just getting out of this and just take it home.

I'm just trying to prove that, you know,
I'm the athlete that I always thought I am.
