yesterday, I might go for finishing two of the roles.
So I need, I want to do it in this one too.

Support is what it is, but this is my time
in to do it if I want to get it done.
So I might do that today to really chip away at that
and then just get it done.
Cause like I did have a goal to try to get
top 100 all rolls.

I mean, every roll is different.
I'm not, I have different skills in different rolls.
So like even with me being top 500, even with me being top 500
in almost every role, it doesn't mean that all my roles

Like I think clearly my tank is still my best support,
definitely my second best, and it definitely
is not better, but 100 rolls different.
It just takes practice.
And sometimes it just has to be like what meta you're in.
So for example, like this meta is a little bit more
difficult sometimes because it's snipers, right?
So like I struggle a little bit more against snipers when that happens.
So it just depends more into YouTube, reviving.
And I see how long the day goes today.

And I mean like you know it can tell you for weeks if you d rank or have a couple rough, you know days and games

awful or maybe you have a good like streak of things it's not go go play a
mode that you don't normally play as much I'm not even joking like you like
playing like a stadium or like a 66 while you may not be your mainly played
mode I you're probably gonna be way less frustrated if it's not a mode that
you you know what I mean that you constantly focus on playing right so I
I always give the advice that during drives having that secondary option is a really good fallback if your your your main stuff is not going as well
So like because like for example with stadium and again, listen, I don't play as much stadium anymore
So people like yeah, you play a lot of stadium. You just want people to play stadium. I don't play much stadium nowadays
I do I've been pretty you know vocal about you know the direction of stadium currently has not been for me as much as it
Was when they first launched it. I've been very vocal about that but
It's still a fun mode to like just go and vibe with if it just ain't working with drives
You know I mean like where it just isn't working with you know
You're 5v5 games and you know you lose four ranks because the games are miserable
You know it's just good to have that backup option is all I'm saying
You carry pretty decently in DPS and stadiums here drives are just vibes exactly yep
Oh, I agree. They need more they need to be cooler build. I need a date
They might they need to lean they need to lean more into the chaotic fun
This has been something I've been talking about for a while at stadium and it seems like I talk about it daily
So my apologies, but as you know, I like stadium
I was like as a mode I played probably 50-50 with with regular regd for a while
because it was just a good change of pace but
You can't just take away the fun out of it and then expect people to still play it right you can't you can't keep
You know nerf in really fun builds not even just my builds right like you know
I wasn't playing a lot of mercy
I wasn't playing a lot of some of the other builds that got absolutely annihilated right
But when you get rid of all the fun builds, you're just defeating the purpose of what stadium is supposed to be, which is like,
yes, maybe in their vision it was supposed to be this like really sweaty MOBA that like people love.
But like, sometimes when the community plays it and they just go, hey, we really love this aspect of it, you don't try to force them to play the other aspect.
It reminds me of this thing that, I've talked about it before, but the WoW-like game director, you know, I think it's, I would say, I would say it wrong.
But most people know him by now.
He talked about how for years in World of Warcraft,
one of the major mistakes they made
was they tried to say, this is the way
you're going to play the game because this is our vision.
They're like, this is how you're going to play it.
This is the way you're going to play the game.
And we don't care otherwise.
We think this is what you want.
And after a while, they realize
that was the opposite of what needed to happen.
They needed to lean into more of,
this is what players enjoy with this.
And we're going to create systems within that
to do that.
And it helped, wow, right?
Like, don't be wrong, I know Midnight's
having a little bit of back and forth
and what people are going to think about it,
because it feels like it's more of just a housing expansion,
which, again, the house is actually really cool,
but I can see where players who don't care as much about that
can be frustrated with it.
But the point I'm making is, like,
War Within had a really good bounce back
because they actually took some of that feedback of, like,
we're going to just create what people want
rather than what we think people want.
And Sadium came into it, and I think their vision was,
we're going to make it a sweaty mobile, right?
But it hit, not because of sweaty mobile,
it hit because it was an arcade-y version
of your characters that you could strengthen
and increase that, the way they describe it
is called hero fantasy.
So you're able to increase the hero fantasy
of your character with these really fun, exciting builds.
And that was what Stadium became
and what it should have been about later on.
But they already had a set plan that it was going to be,
they already had a set plan
that it was going to be sweaty MOBA.
It seems like that seemed to be the play.
So they were like, no, we can't have this part
of it, we want to make it so.
50% of the builds are being used.
You're going to use that damn ability,
power, Cassidy build, whether you like it or not.
You're going to do this, you're going to do that.
Basically, they kind of try to take away the extremely
exciting aspect of it, the arcadey version that made it fun
to make it a sweaty MOBA version.
But at that point, the community seemed to lean more
towards the arcade version.
Now, again, if you're in the chat going,
no, I like the current version.
That's fine, right?
That's the whole point is to each their own.
But they took away a lot of what made Stadium
that exciting aspect of it within a year.
But, going back to what I said yesterday,
I think Stadium has a few more opportunities anyway
to regain a huge amount of player base.
Like it's not like it's the end of the world
that they decided to try that and it didn't work.
I do think Stadium has a lot of bounce back moments
because it's still so new
and there's still about 20 or so more heroes to go
that need to be added to Stadium.
On top of that, they still have time,
so there's still a lot of time to get that
right with Stadium, but that's why it's been very
kind of back and forth and jarring
because it kind of took away a lot of what was super exciting.
So while also not being consistent,
there's a couple of builds in the stadium
that have been there since season one
and just run lobbies once you keep climbing.
And it's not even, it's just no one
has fun except those like a couple of characters, so anyway.

Even after they spent a whole season reworking Cassidy,

Because they didn't solve the problem

So no one's gonna play those ones.

Like, anyway, there's a lot of stuff there
that has happened with stadium that they can eventually
bring that back.

of stuff that they've done that just makes it really hard
for people to want to stay there consistently
if they just keep taking the fun aspect of it, right?
It goes back, even the Lucio Double Booth build, right?
That build was fun.
That's why that people chose that build.
And what do they say?
Oh, too many people are picking this build.
Let's get rid of it.
I hate to break it to you,
but if too many people are picking a build,
listen, I know meta is a thing,
but if you get down to like rookie, elite, pro,
all these various ranks and people are running that,
it's not because of meta.
It's because it's just fun.
So if you go, oh, this build's being picked,
we've got to get rid of this
because the other builds aren't being picked.
It's people were picking it because it was fun.
That's why. It was fun. Fun. And that's what stadium sometimes loses track of is that like people like certain new builds because it was fun.
That's why. It's not because, you know, it was the most dominant thing ever. It's because it was fun. And that was the thing.
So I hope that going into this year of stadium, they recognize that leaning more into the fun aspect of stadium.

but I also find where people would not find

that aren't even in the stadium yet.
So stadium will also have that problem, right?

But honestly like I think the drops go Monday and Tuesday also, so I'll just do normal schedule Monday and Tuesday
